So Joy Reid was running some old footage of NBC's news reports of the Watergate hearings,

and she pointed out that it had its own theme music. What she didn't mention was that the music they used was "The March to the Scaffold" from Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique. I LOL'd. Somebody at NBC News had a sly sense of humor.

The first thing I thought of was Orff's Carmina Burana, but the
"misheard lyrics" is new to me, and just perfect. I'd love to tune
into live television coverage of a special committee of congress's
hearings on Trump's impeachment and have "Oh Fortuna" be the
intro.

fascinating because all kinds of stuff was projected onto the set, a lot of written stuff, and I think it was around the time when a lot of what had been taken from Cohen's office was revealed.
