Sheriff's Office to refer dragging, shoving incidents at migrant child shelter to prosecutors

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office will refer incidents of staffers dragging and shoving migrant children at a shelter to county prosecutors for determination of whether criminal charges are warranted.

The announcement came after The Arizona Republic published videos from Southwest Key's Youngtown Hacienda Del Sol shelter, showing the mid-September incidents.

The videos, obtained from state health authorities and blurred to protect the children's privacy, involved three children and various staffers.

The Sheriff's Office initially concluded there was no grounds for a criminal referral after reviewing hours of surveillance footage from the facility. But after reconsidering what it called its "thorough investigation," the office changed course and said it will ask the Maricopa County Attorney's Office on Monday to review the incidents and determine

the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office had a hard time recognizing crime since their inspired leadership and training of "Sheriff Joe."
If they weren't wearing pink underwear and were white, "What crime?"

They hated him so much and disagreed with his racist shit so much that they weren't going to file a referral for criminal charges until these videos saw the light of day

Fuck that noise. I would defer from tarnishing their image and reputation if just ONE of them had stood up for justice BEFORE a media organization had to obtain this evidence of deplorable treatment OF FUCKING CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm God damned tired of people making excuses for these deplorable pricks
