to actually work instead of having to work around this GOP-induced farce.

Remember that one MASH episode when Col. Blake had to run interference for Hawkeye, who went to Cincpac or whatever and chewed out a general.

Blake asked Hawkeye, "Did you really call it Nin-com-pac?"

The two NY Senators (both Democrats), and a handful of Congress people (mostly Democrats) that serve in a jurisdiction covered by the SDNY. In this scenario, the DOJ itself would be calling the shots. Basically Sessions and Whitaker would be running the investigation and directing the prosecution.

The chances of these predictions occurring are somewhere between nil and nonexistent. Even if it did happen, it would look like a political purge of Republicans.

If this were true, my bet that it'd be financial. Banking or stock market, maybe? SDNY would have jurisdiction.

I'd love for this to be true. It's about time the GOP got legally, perhaps criminally ensnared. Long overdue.

I've been wishing for years they all would be RICO'd. That's my dream ...

So all of these people would have had to travel to NYC to commit their crimes.

Banking and stock market crimes are charged where the defendant was when he committed the crime. If Saxby Chambliss committed bank fraud from his residence in Georgia, he would have to be charged by US Attorney from the Northern District of Georgia.

But there's an iron triangle that has robbed the world of trillions of dollars, now hidden in offshore accounts. The culprits? Organized criminals, Wall Street bankers and corrupt politicians.

If Mueller can pull this off - it'll be a much-needed miracle!

Besides, if this is circulating around where WE can see it, it’s undoubtedly circulating around where some of those people named on that list can see it.

And be afraid. Be VERY afraid. Prepare your nice, stirring solos for Robert Mueller. Start singin’!

https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2018/05/08/putins-proxies-helped-funnel-millions-gop-campaigns

Data from the Federal Election Commission show that Blavatnik's campaign contributions dating back to 2009-10 were fairly balanced across party lines and relatively modest for a billionaire. During that season he contributed $53,400. His contributions increased to $135,552 in 2011-12 and to $273,600 in 2013-14, still bipartisan.

In 2015-16, everything changed. Blavatnik's political contributions soared and made a hard right turn as he pumped $6.35 million into GOP political action committees, with millions of dollars going to top Republican leaders including Sens. Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham.

In total, Blavatnik, Intrater, Shustorovich and Kukes made $10.4 million in political contributions from the start of the 2015-16 election cycle through September 2017, and 99 percent of their contributions went to Republicans. With the exception of Shustorovich, the common denominator that connects the men is their association with Vekselberg. Experts who follow the activities of Russian oligarchs told ABC News that they believe the contributions from Blavatnik, Intrater and Kukes warrant intense scrutiny because they have worked closely with Vekselberg.

The right wing hate machine would go into full out war. These would be very difficult times.

If it was Russian money laundering, most of the public wouldn't understand, which would make them vulnerable to the hate machine's rhetoric.
