If you rise to the level of insult worthiness you have become a feature in his life that he feels in awe of and that cannot stand. He knows what a fraudulent failure he is, not that he would ever acknowledge it.
We have, as president, a person who went bankrupt numerous times (even when owning a casino) yet claims to be a business genius. A political idiot who says he has a bigly brain and thinks the nation is all about HIM , and a draft dodger who says he knows more than the generals. He claims to know more about science while not establishing that he can even read at a t level greater than a toddler.
This is whom you are being insulted by...take not so secret pride in being a source of angst for him. He doesn’t realize it but he is his own existential crisis, it won’t end well for him so there is that. It will end, and end well for America. We will learn from this and come out stronger.
