My guess is that the IRS can put him in jail for life.
The only reason they haven't done so yet is because Mnuchin is the Secretary of the Treasury and the IRS is part of the Treasury Dept. Mnuchin, (a Trump submissive who would do anything to please his master) would rape a Yak before he'd let Trump's tax returns be disclosed.
However, at some point, these gangsters will be gone and Trump's taxes will become public. At that point, Trump will probably have to flee to Moscow and ask for asylum.

(7,220 posts)He won't resign over this either; I find it silly that anyone would suggest that. He will rage-tweet, obfuscate and distract, but he won't turn over the taxes.
The bill should require the IRS to do it for him so he can't get out of it.

(7,901 posts)be automatically audited by the IRS. I don't know if the bill as introduced is even constitutional (I tend to think it is not). An enforced audit should be a pre-employment qualification just like any potential employer can ask me to to be drug-tested as a condition of employment. No need to release the information to the public, but it would screen out the most egregious criminals from government.
