He was a supporter of the jerk Dr. Terry Lakin who refused to deploy to Afghanistan because he said he needed to see President Obama's long form birth certificate. He was tried and convicted of missing a movement and discharged w/o his pension. He spent 5 months at Leavenworth. Ciaviolino help Lakin write a book and ran a support web site.
