Whatever happened to the abuse allegations against Avenatti?

It was a month and a half that we heard the allegation could be considered a misdemeanor after being rejected as a felony.
To this date, no misdemeanor charges have been pressed either to my knowledge.
Does anyone have an update?

...along with Avenatti's empty bluster about going after Wohl and TMZ.

It seems that he and his girlfriend had a disagreement over the cost of maintaining her as such, and that they parted dramatically.

The next scheduled hearing in the contract case, now that Stormy Daniels has been ordered to pay $300k in the defamation case, is on January 22 on the cross motions to amend/dismiss:

SCHEDULING NOTICE by Judge S. James Otero re: NOTICE OF MOTION AND MOTION to Dismiss Plaintiff's Declaratory Relief Cause of Action for Lack of Subject Matter Jurisdiction 87, NOTICE OF MOTION AND MOTION to Strike Plaintiff's First Amended Complaint Amended Complaint/Petition 14 31, NOTICE OF MOTION AND MOTION to AMEND Amended Complaint/Petition 14 91, NOTICE OF MOTION AND MOTION to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction 88 . The hearing on the Motion To Dismiss the Declaratory Relief Cause of Action (ECF Nos. 87 and 88), the Motion To Strike Plaintiff's FAC (ECF No. 31) and the Motion To Amend the Complaint (ECF No. 91) in Clifford v. Trump et al. No. 18-02217, are continued to Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM.

In all likelihood, the judge is going to send them all home. The only thing Avenatti is seeking in that case is a declaration that the contract is void. The defendants have already agreed it is void. In normal circumstances, when you have obtained your client's objective, you quit. However, this is Avenatti we're talking about, so he's got to milk it for everything he can.

I don't get it. I miss him being on the national stage and taking on Spanky on his own level - the sandbox. Hes tough and smart and could've taken a good run at a Dem nomination, but I dont think there going to happen now. Too bad.

So far it's gone absolutely nowhere. The city could possibly pursue a misdemeanor charge but I don't think that ever happened either.

They have found other targets to attack like a future Congresswoman dancing in college, a Speaker of the House, any Democrat who speaks, etc.

They may revisit this "scandal" some time in the future when agent orange is found to have committed more treason than is currently known about.

Not exactly true. We will all, everyone one of us, hear or read the name Avenatti, followed by Domestic Abuser, from every WingNut forever and ever and ever.
