rump is paying more attention to fox/faux news then the elected officials in Congress who are there to make the laws that govern this land. And he's wanting to bypass this whole process as spelled out constitutionally in order to get something that Congress hasn't funded and won't. Couldn't do it during the repug term in office, but instead is doing it now (the shutdown).

It does make one wonder why he didn't go after the wall funds/etc. during the prior two years. I think he's doing this all for show and bluster because he has nothing else left.
