So what I'm gathering from this article is rather than shut our parks down completely ,and therefore protect them, this criminal administration wanted to keep them open to avoid public outcry and to benefit private businesses adjacent to the parks?

Restrooms aren't open.
Trash pickup is closed.

Lots of them.
Again, people are people and many are from the city with no clue what to expect.

(12,503 posts)In past shutdowns, the snowmobiles and 4 wheelers blaze into Yellowstone chasing bison, elk, mule deer, etc.. fatiguing the critters and making packed down snow trails that help wolves move more quickly than normal to take down elk and bison individuals.
Trump left the parks open to his gun humper MAGA slimeballs who love nothing better than disgracing our wild lands.
