I just fell in love

Kamala Harris is on Morning Joe right now and watching her made my eyes well up and my chest swell. I'm in love. I know it's early but I'm pretty sure I've found my candidate. I'm usually not fickle like this, and I'm sorry Bernie, but I'm in love.

She is just so marvelous!

Did you see her excitement when talking about distribution of resources and zip codes? She didn't need to check her notes, this is her passion. And it's a grand one!

3. And she seems so comfortable

There's an ease to her when she's speaking. Comfortable. Her speaking points aren't forced lines or sound bites, she seems genuinely comfortable in her words

I was telling myself the same thing. I supported Bernie in the last primary and told myself I'd probably support him again, but let's wait to see who all comes out. Trying to keep an open mind. I've seen her a couple times in the last few days on other shows and she did well, but this morning........she got me.

When she was talking about issues I felt a lightness I haven't felt in 2 years. The darkness of our recent days seemed to lift a bit with a feeling of "This is what we need"

5. It is shaping up to be a very large field and there are many I DO like a lot...

There are also two, I could NOT support (Tulsi Gabbard and Kirsten Gillibrand)--obviously with the qualifier that if they somehow won the DEM primary, I would of course back them.

All I know is we need a return to competency, rationality, and integrity.

Really looking forward to seeing the two of them engage in debate and dialogue.

than most here do. I won't get into it here as this is about Kamala and not Al, but her position (she was one of many who called for his resignation) doesn't change my opinion.

15. Probably the same as a majority of Democrats. And one independent.

Manchin stood up for Franken.

That's a pretty bad metric to use.

She was great. Super smart and affable yet no nonsense. I had not paid much attention to her before, but I became an instant convert. I hope she'll run (seems like she's gearing up for it)
