Now the Democrats have a choice: Stand firm and let Trump and McConnell destroy the government and our country

OR

Give him money for his mirage, and lose the ability to ever stop him again, destroying democracy and our country

If he finds he can get anything he wants by shutting down the government, expect him to do that early and often.

1. Look at the long term and the answer is easier.

Give in now and he does this every year ad infinitum and who knows what destruction PUtin could get him to do.

Don't give in now and repugs pay a terrible price for their hate filled actions in supporting the russian asset & traitor. They can't negotiate with him because all he does is lie and he would 100% viciously turn on them and never do as agreed. They hopefully realized this dynamic when he lied to them about DACA last year.

3. I've yet to see Democrats, or even voters for that matter, extract a political price

from the Republicans. Certainly none that is proportional to what they deserve. 2018 was a step in the right direction.
but will the average uninformed American be able to discern (after the propaganda outlets get a hold of them) that this is a disaster entirely of the Republicans making?
