It is truly sad and dangerous that only 7 Republicans voted to convict a president who is promoting a Big Lie, conspiracy theories and violence, and is aggressively trying to destroy American democracy.

I am repelled by Senate and House republican members for the most part, think that nothing happening, and the blatantly illegal
presidential behaviors committed by djt, sr., such as overthrowing the legally established government occurred on 1/6/21.

He invited these people. He knew it was in process every step of the way.

I wonder what would have happened if 100 citizens were in place of the 100 (57 and 43 vote) senators, that the results would have been the same margin. I suspect more Americans would have found the behavior and evidence supplied far more sufficient to find guilty. Perhaps more closer to 70/30 split, since some republicans found such illegal behaviors wrong. This would have actually impeached the guy. The republicans by virtue of their rigging the voting districts to their favor, allowed djt to go free. The true nature of the republican party is officially revealed.
