If he's tweeting from the WH, why isn't the tweet sent from the eastern time zone? Why would he have his phone set to an alternate zone? One far to the east of us?

That's a hell of a good question. This isn't a random detail. Cell phones pay great attention to what time it is. They check in w/ the network constantly to make sure that they're in synch. You have to deliberately set the device to reflect an offset from local time, and there are very few reasons for doing so.

How does the headline read "assault on Obama" when 45 is clearly mentioning Bush, Clinton, and "any other President"? Trump is able to cloak himself in terrible policy by the media simply using terms like "Obama-era" and "assault on Obama".

The headline turns it into an "Us vs Them" response while neither side is really focusing on the ridiculous policy itself.
