I worked in a prison as a counselor for two years. One thing I learned in dealing with every criminal type is this: to catch a thief you have to think like one. So I applied this knowledge to Trump and this government shutdown. Why did he cave in to Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh so easily. He has done things in the past that they didn't like yet he did them anyway. So what was the real target for the shutdown? In criminal investigations the motive is critical to understanding the crime. I then went through all the agencies that are being impacted by the shutdown and there it was, staring me in the face. The FBI is one of the agencies that is feeling the shutdown and that is good for Trump. He has said that he wanted to shut down the investigation and what better way than to cut off their funding via the shutdown.
