It’s not only Tucker Carlson heaping praise on the Assad-loving Tulsi Gabbard.

With Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) entering the 2020 presidential fray, establishment figures on both Right and Left are scrambling to smear the anti-war congresswoman with impeccable identity-politics bona fides.
Ever since her 2017 visit to Syria, Gabbard has been condemned for daring to seek firsthand accounts rather than blindly trusting the MSM narrative, so on Friday the pundits were again off to the races, with fresh accusations of Assad-sympathizing.

Note that Russia today lies about the right wing attacking Gabbard. In general, the right wing has been mostly silent or happy about her, as in the case of Tucker.

The entire right wing smear machine leaped in -- against Democrats of course -- when she accused Democrats of religious bigotry for asking a Trump judicial nominee, who has ties to Knights of Columbus and their anti-LGBTQ history, about his past public statements on those subjects.

CNN - Rep. Tulsi Gabbard in the early 2000s touted working for her father's anti-gay organization, which mobilized to pass a measure against same-sex marriage in Hawaii and promoted controversial conversion therapy.
