You interpreted the scope and reach of Execuctive Privilege to protect criminal acts by a President, and those acting on their behalf.

You were the architect of the decision that pardoned the criminals who ignored laws enacted by Congress to prevent funding of anti-democratic insurgents in Central America. These actors also violated sanctions against Iran to generate the "off the books" funding for the project.

With the legal exposure of the current President, do you believe that Donald Trump has the unconditional authority to pardon those convicted and shield those under investigation?
