(10,314 posts)Cover. Some Republicans are trying to distance themselves from Trump. If they really wanted to "rebuke Trump" they would vote to reopen the government without the money for the stupid wall.

(11,767 posts)What I am saying is that Senate Republicans are cowards and liars. They voted with Democrats as a symbolic gesture to make it seem like they aren't actually complicit.
If they wanted to Rebuke Trump they would vote to re-open the government without the wall funding.

(11,885 posts)Many Republicans are in Putin's pocket. Voting to lift his sanctions after they know he helped undermine our election and Democracy is treasonous ,and there will be a list who voted for putin now on this . These republicans should especially be targeted for their involvement with russian money from putin now , if they haven't been already.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
