Cover. Some Republicans are trying to distance themselves from Trump. If they really wanted to "rebuke Trump" they would vote to reopen the government without the money for the stupid wall.

What I am saying is that Senate Republicans are cowards and liars. They voted with Democrats as a symbolic gesture to make it seem like they aren't actually complicit.

If they wanted to Rebuke Trump they would vote to re-open the government without the wall funding.

As I understand it, it takes a majority of both houses to block relief from sanctions

Many Republicans are in Putin's pocket. Voting to lift his sanctions after they know he helped undermine our election and Democracy is treasonous ,and there will be a list who voted for putin now on this . These republicans should especially be targeted for their involvement with russian money from putin now , if they haven't been already.
