Several people have touted the fact that Trump's approval is down in Rasmussen.
Here's the problem with that
When Rasmussen decides to pretend Trump is recovering, you will have to whine about how the Rasmussen poll is unreliable and biased (which it is).
Very soon, Rasmussen will receive angry email from its predominantly conservative subscribers, demanding that the pollster "get it right".
Rasmussen will not wish to lose revenue and will bring Trump back up to 50%.
Just don't make Rasmussen famous.

(96,882 posts)People aren't pointed to Rasmussen because it's accurate. They're pointing to Rasmussen because, even with it's built-in biases, the trend line is showing Trump losing support.
