Mueller is safe - and he is fair and honorable. All we could ask for. If there is bad news in the future it will indisputable.

Mueller, for some reason, does not want impeachment proceedings at this moment ... I think.

More likely there are deep waters here involving (for example) sources and methods regarding US intel capabilities against foreign nationals and foreign powers.

Just like Comey and the other "honorable" people in the FBI who refuse to tell us anything about Trump. We need to demand more than that from a two year old investigation. Is what happened tonight, what Mueller's spokesman should be doing? Muddling the waters at such an important time in our history? No we need truth. Now.

Is what happened tonight what Carr should be doing?

Yes, from the SCO's perspective, which is who Carr works for.

You may not like it, but however sincere, our opinions as to what "should" happen doesn't do much for the community in terms of understanding what "is" happening.

What he "should" do and what he "has" done are two different things...

We can all say whatever we wish about what "should" happen, but if the point of being on a discussion board is to discuss topics, what "is" happening is more significant.

If that's your view of indictments and/or guilty pleas from 33 people and three companies, then there's little point in engaging in any further discussion.

That group is composed of five former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Seven of these people (including now all five former Trump aides) have pleaded guilty.

If you also count investigations that Mueller originated but then referred elsewhere in the Justice Department, you can add a plea deal from one more person to the list.

Those convicted or pleading include Trump's former national security advisor, former campaign chair and deputy campaign chair, and former personal attorney.

But, okay, "nothing" is happening. Right.
