the only thing I have heard of would be the Native American version of a witch.

Only bad people are such creatures. "Skinwalkers" in the Navajo tradition I believe.

who think evil thoughts, like the poster above 'skin walkers' from the Navajo and some tribes in the Pacific Northwest. They do not do 'curses' they do, however, believe that white people, especially like the ones who disrespected Grandfather Phillips, that they are not human, not people. Or that they are 'touched' that they are sick, unhealthy because they have lost their connection to Spirit and Nature. N8ives stay away from those who are 'touched' they are a physical people and would rather stay away or face them in person and deal with it.

They don't curse, but, they do pray...which is more powerful but takes a little longer!
