(4,360 posts)Might as well be freezing because that's freaking cold.
And before anyone says anything about their own temps, talk to me in the summer when it's 90 and you think it's hot

(10,753 posts)Just south of Green Bay, WI. We're dreading this long stretch of below zero weather, my husband and I. It's exhausting. I'm 70, and it never bothered me until the last few years. I don't even want to go out to eat, or go and get my hair cut.
And the poor animals and birds! We put out pounds of bird seed and suet in this weather, and have brush cover for them.

(4,494 posts)Had to clear the driveway this morning for about 45 minutes (remind me to buy a snow-blower for next winter). I was bundled up, wearing layers, but I was pretty cold by the time I got done.

(25,392 posts)We've had almost no snow this winter. I'll take the snow over the cold.

We have had more snow this winter than we'd had in recent years, so the ski basin is doing well.

(4,506 posts)There hasn't been much snow here ( barely east of the Continental Divide) The NW part of the state is different. The difference in the weather in the Montana NW and the Montana SE is like comparing Chicago to DC.

(14,565 posts)Too warm. I loved Orlando last week when it dipped into the high 30s for a while when I was there.
At least I've not had to use the air conditioner in Miami for weeks. Sometimes a fan at night. Windows open during the day.
I really miss walking the Strip in Las Vegas at this time of year, going from sportsbook to sportsbook. Year after year. I would be wearing a windbreaker or just a golf shirt while others were bundled up. People thought I must have been from Alaska.
