I know that they think that the whole "Read my lips" thing was him being a wimp, but NO it was him realizing (like Reagan did) that you could not sustain an economy on credit cards after blowing a hole in the revenue system. Bush was the last president from the WWII era and unlike his predecessor, he didn't play soldier in front of a camera. He served and was wounded in combat.

I am no fan of GHW Bush. He was instrumental in the direction the country took toward where we are today along with Nixon, Reagan, and the entire group of neocons. He has serious blood on his hands. However, as I said, he was NEVER a wimp. He had an ideology, that I could not disagree with more, and his actions have been questionable (putting it very nicely).

The problem I have is with Coulter lumping Bush in with Trump as wimps. Trump is and has always been a wimp. He has never done his own dirty work. He is a coward bully, while Bush put his body on the line to defend America during wartime.
