I also had a report that 99% like Guinness but they may have been drunk and hungry.

a liverwurst sandwich with pickle, onions, mustard, chips and a dark beer. Talking early 70's, probably $1:50 - $2:00 at the most. I don't recall this place serving Guinness, probably Lowenbrau or maybe Heineken.

my friends and I would always go to the pub in the evening. We would order the Beamish because it was a few pence cheaper than Guinness. My friend still remembers how he ordered a pint and overheard the barman mutter "Cheap bastard!" under his breath.
