We are headed either for a State of Emergency Declaration or another Shut Down on Feb. 15th

Trump's battered ego will allow for nothing else given that Democrats will never approve anything he can remotely claim as his vanity wall. The entire political spectrum now says he caved to Nancy and the Dems. The mocking will drive Trump far crazier than he already his. He can't stand it. His rage will drive an irrational decision.

But Trump will fail, fail even worse than he has this time. The nation does not want another shutdown and Republicans in Congress do not want another shut down. My guess is Trump will take the State of Emergency route, and that will not end well for him either. If he tries to shut down the government again he will force Republicans in Congress to break with him, and that would truly break his Presidency, as well as his fragile ego.

maybe indictments - that will help Spanky conveniently "forget" about what caused his humiliation when Nancy Pelosi gelded him and took his 'nads back to her office to keep in a jar on her desk. Instead he will come up with a way to present the wall as something other than the 2,000-mile concrete wall he's demanded - he's already started talking about non-wall walls - and he'll turn his attention to something else he thinks he can puff up his chest about without Pelosi smiling slyly and waving that little jar at him.

But I honestly don't think Trump can stand up under the ridicule of the likes of Anne Coulter and the Right Wing hate squad that thrives on conflict (as in getting personally rich off of sowing division in America.) Trump is too much of a narcissist. He needs a cult of personality around him, he needs cabinet officials to grovel to him. I think this is leaving the realm of politics now and heading into raw psychological dysfunction. Trump will need to assert himself again. He will fail. It will get ugly.

But I would prefer you were right on this one rather than me. His presidency is going down either way, but hopefully he won't pull much of the nation down with him.
