Ive been saying to everyone who loves these GOPers who hate Trump that they will turn on you faster than you know it.
Supporting Schultz is a GOP dick move.
Schmidt is still a dick.
Always was and always will.
He only hates Trump because his guy lost to him.

...of the "disillusioned Republican voter" because if they believe hard enough, and long enough, and devote enough time, money, and attention to it then they won't have to appeal any harder than they already do for progressive/left leaning votes because they can keep convincing themselves and those around them that an abundance of disaffected Republicans is just around the corner waiting to put us over the edge in votes.

If they haven't abandoned the Republicans by now, they never will.

And I am loathe to trust people who endorse the same economic and neocon foreign policies, just without the overt racism.

Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace, Rick Wilson, Jennifer Rubin, Stephanie Ruhle are Republicans. They hate tRump. They are still Republicans and always will be. I delight in listening to and reading all of them. They are sane Republicans and as soon as a sane Republican candidate emerges their shift back to their core beliefs will be seismic.
