NEWS: Former Obama WH adviser Bill Burton is joining Howard Schultz’s team as a top aide and communications strategist, per two people familiar with the hire. Burton was unavail for comment, Schultz spokes declined to comment.

anyone with any Democratic allegiance, seen to be getting in the way of the Democratic Nominee for 2020 should be ostracised. There is little difference between that and an amoral Republican asshole like Manafort, imo. It's not as if there won't be enough Dem Candidates !!!

Perhaps he is a true believer in what Schultz is all about. I honestly don't know enough about the players to make a definitive assessment. I certainly do appreciate the lure of a big payday, however, and would not be surprised if money did not at least pay some significant role.
