Remember the Grenada "war" of 1983? I'll bet most people don't, or at least don't remember the supposed reasons for it.

But I don't think they had the embedded journalists delivering the play-by-play like they had in Gulf War #1.


But hey, kicking the ass of such superpowers like Grenada won't stop the media or Clint Eastwood from thumping our chests.

It's actually really hilarious looking. The script writers could make a comedy of this.




Anyway, they are trying to signal to the Venezuelan generals that they're willing to do something.

And that means that the generals hands are going to be tied if there is an internal coup (actual internal military insurgency). If the generals respond to it, then the US starts droning the hell out of them and the rest of the fighters will turn very quickly.
