what the right calls "free stuff" the rest of us call "a wise investment in

our people that pays for itself 100x over economically, socially and morally."

Anyone want to wordsmith that for me? Suggestions welcome.

oooooohhhhhh....scaaaaaaarey. I just heard a RW nut job say this on CNN. Meanwhile even Communism is OK since they are in love with Russia and Putin now due to being their dear leader's BFF. They say, "Communism is good but Socialism is bad. Social Security is good but that isn't "free stuff" or Socialism". Their logic boggles the mind.

Most people seem to have no idea what socialism is.

Socialism: State ownership of the means of production.

What the Nordic countries etc have is capitalism with governments that provide strong social safety nets, which is not socialism but govt programs for general welfare, but that does not equal socialism.
