He is a right wing ideologue. Remember that he was the campaign manager for John McCain who is a right wing ideologue. Schmidt thinks that right wing policy is great, that deficits are not good, except when they occur because of a tax cut for the wealthy. He does not like that Trump is vulgar and naked about his racism, xenophobia, and economic elitism.

He is one of those Republicans that believe that Conservatism never fails, just that people fail conservatism. He is brainwashed I guess, just not in the way that people think and not because he signed up for Schultz. That was predictable.

GOP Strategist Quits ‘Corrupt’ Party Of ‘Feckless Cowards,’ Will Vote For Democrats

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/steve-schmidt-renounces-gop_us_5b2a4ce8e4b05d6c16c96a05

Veteran GOP strategist Steve Schmidt renounced his Republican Party membership on Wednesday (6/19/18) and pledged to vote for Democrats in an effort to preserve “what is right and decent” in the United States.

In a series of scathing tweets, Schmidt blasted the GOP as “corrupt, indecent and immoral” and “fully the party of Trump.”

Gish Gallop clap trap. Face it,Schmidt is trying to repair his Creeds after playing the Palin Card that really showed the world just how bad a Campaign Manager he could be.

Every message he crafted was one of divisiveness and Hatred. He now's no other style of campaigning.

You just witnessed Schmidt doing his filibusterer bull crap once again.

he describes himself as a centrist independent. I'm voting for lefty Democrats. The liberaller the better.

And I don't like his coffee. 7-11 exclusive blend is better than anything I ever had at Starbucks.

Schmidt, Wallace, Ruhle.

It annoyed the shit out of me, like there weren't enough good journalists/commentators out there that weren't "reformed." These people got the paying gig at the expense of others.

So now two of them flip, coincidentally right as the Presidential announcements are being made. PUHLEASE!

Two of them are all for the greed is good part of republicanism, they just aren't good with the open racism. As soon as the repukes go back to using only dog whistles these types will be fine with any repuke.
