Put the company name into the search bar and see if they have a PAC or if lots of their executives are supporting a political party or candidate(s).

You can also use Google to search for the company name + "Republican" or "Democrat" and see what turns up. Could be photos of someone endorsing a candidate or hosting a fundraiser for their campaign.

Corporate Watch exists to investigate corporations, explain and analyse how corporate power and capitalism work, and provide research for people striving for social change.

You can look up companies they have investigated in the past, and even suggest ones that you think they should investigate.

a local breakfast joint here had to close because of the owners had a family tragedy they couldn't recover from. I loved this place and was sad to see it go but then I saw in a local FB page for the area that someone had bought the restaurant and was planning to continue on. I went to the new owners facebook page (it was published and promoted by the new owners) and saw shit-tons of right-wing memes. I thought "You stupid fuck". lol don't link your personal page to your business if you're that partisan. I'll never eat there.

The scale is calculated as follows:

1 - Liberal – Direct donations to liberal organizations, such as pro-abortion groups or gun control groups. Having liberal values in the company’s main business platform.
2 - Lean Liberal – Third party donations to groups that support or fund liberal organizations causes, matching gifts to liberal organizations or causes, or any indirect support to liberal organizations or causes.
3 - Neutral – Absence of any support of liberal organizations or causes. A company can also score neutral if they equally support liberal and conservative causes.
4 - Lean Conservative – Third party donations to groups that support conservative organizations or causes, matching gifts to conservative causes or groups, or any indirect support for conservative organizations or causes.
5 - Conservative – Direct funding to conservative groups, such as pro-life groups and pro-2nd Amendment groups. Having conservative values in the company’s main business platform.

I know Barnes and Noble carried one, but the title escapes me.
