I believe a Biden/Castro ticket would be formidable.

Biden could likely rebuild the midwestern Blue Wall and with Castro it would make TX very competitive. It would inspire Obama/Biden nostalgia but be a nod towards our multicultural future.

Biden wouldn’t cost us a Senate seat the way it would if Sherrod Brown were to win.

FWIW, I think either Brown or Biden wins the nomination if either jumps into the race. But if both are in, they likely split votes and the nomination goes to someone else - not that that’s a bad thing.

Would work too. Too many great possibilities. Like Brown and Booker too.

What economic position does he have that the rest of our candidates don't share?

The others aren’t bad but I think they identify with the Blue Wall states the best.

with the fact that they are middle aged white guys and the rest of the field thus far are women or people of color?

I mean don't get me wrong, if what you are saying is they would connect better because those areas are racist then I agree entirely. Bu 1) we should say that if that's what we mean, and 2) appealing to a group that may or may not vote for Democrats in the first place, could also depress other voting blocks that are more reliably democratic.

So many awesome tickets for the Dems available in 2020, but the ticket really does need an extra Chromosome. (Possibly 2!!)

Was Biden/Harris, but now could support a Harris/Booker ticket. But still really like Biden!!

If a woman wins the nomination then fine, I’ll vote for her.

At the end of the day it’s all about the EC. If a woman can help a ticket win the EC then so be it. Again, she must appeal to the voters.

Reading the tea leaves, the time is now for that glass ceiling to be broken. That ceiling is 0-3 so far, but 2020 will be the year. What happened last year in Alabama, and Georgia and across the country, tells us the time is NOW!!
However, with that being said, dang such great tickets like Biden/Booker, Biden/Beto Biden/Brown, and Biden/Kennedy for example. The Dem bench is DEEP!! (I didn't even mention Inslee, Bullock, Hickenlooper, Gillium, Landrieu, etc.etc.)

Tone matters against Trump, when he talks $hit during a debate, we need someone who will talk $hit back.
