four deer came over the hill and the turkey's chased them away, maybe next time?

(53,994 posts)4. That reminds me . . . I wonder where the turkeys are that usually frequent our hill.
They normally turn up at some point during the winter to scavenge around the bird feeder, but I haven't seen them. This winter we've been feeding possums along with the birds and squirrels. I think they're really cute and I've read they eat the ticks responsible for Lyme disease. Can't have enough of them where I live.
