....and I know you're out there. Time to come in from the cold. The allegiance you swore to your party as a result of your parents' allegiance is now null and void. Your party of choice is now run by the very lunatics that a number of your brightest lights in the past warned against. Ask yourself these questions:
1. Which party would embrace Dwight Eisenhower today? The Democrats or Republicans?
2. Which party would embrace the greatest President of them all, Abraham Lincoln, Democrats or Republicans?
3. Which party would embrace the Nixon health care plan, Democrats or Republicans?
4. And you should really ask yourself this. If Ronald Reagan was running for President in 2012 do you think he would stand a snowball's chance in hell of receiving the nomination.
Time to own up to your consciences and join the party you really want to be a part of. Let go, let go.

2. Which party endorses torture?
3. Which party endorses the Patriot Act?
4. Which party says "everything is on the table" in terms of cutting the deficit?
5. Which party refused to stand up for Single Payer?
6. Which party is seriously considering going to war in Iran and/or Syria?
7. Which party has gone balls out for prosecuting MM dispensaries?
8. Which party advocates spying on it's citizens without their consent?
9. Which party dispatches drones to kill innocent civilians?
10. Which party refused to prosecute banksters?
11. Which party refused to prosecute War Crimes from the Bush Administration?
12. Which party was in power when Glass-Stegall (sp?) was repealed?
I could go on but the point is, that NEITHER party is ideologically pure, not by a LONG shot.
