Akin should be ignored. Rovian style deflection...

Right from his playbook. Control the media...in any way you can. Akin was a setup Ryan and Romney were getting hammered.

on Edit: Best response is to tie Ryan and Akin together...and how the GOP is still promoting total Abortion ban.

If you say Akin, Ryan needs to follow....the plan was to focus souly on Akin to deflect attention from Ryan...notice how all the Repubs are scrambling to keep the focus on Akin by condemning him. But it is backfiring...as Ryan has already been tied to him and the GOP is still moving ahead...again with it's total ban plank.

Akin flapped his gums, and Rove undoubtedly peed his pants when he heard of it. Certainly Rmoney and Ryan were horrified, along with many other prominent Republicans. Any other conjecture borders on the ridiculous.

Akin is a nightmare for the Republicans.
