Can Cindy McCain be sued for her false human trafficking allegation?

In short, Cindy McCain called the cops on a mother because she didn’t look like her daughter. I am Hispanic and my son doesn’t look anything like me, because my wife is Caucasian and my son looks like her.
Being confronted and questioned by police is a very stressful situation for both parent and child, and we should not allow White ipeople (Or any person) to just sic the cops on us because we look different from our kids.
Cindy McCain is a racist

3. Did she call the cops on herself?

If she did not, it’s because she thinks her adopted foreign daughter looks Caucasian.

because her adopted daughter is black...this is why it sounded off to me.

2. The discriminated couple (parent & child) should be able to sue in civil court, massively.

I am surprised that the police even listened to her. They should have rec'd multiple reports of human trafficking before acting on the tip. And by the way, who made Cindy M. the expert all of a sudden? I hope she's ashamed of herself.

4. I would hesitate to call Cindy McCain a racist. If you recall, she and John McCain adopted

a child from Bangladesh whose skin color is dark enough that it prompted rumors that John McCain had a black love child during the Republican primaries of 2000.

I don't know if there was anything else that made her think human trafficking might have been going on, or why she mentioned the difference in ethnicity in the first place, but I'm not going to call her a racist on the information that I have now. FWIW, she has apologized for her accusation.

6. You just justified her actions

The police didn’t think there was any reason to believe human trafficking, and yet you say that you don’t know if she saw a red flag. Actually, you do know that she had no reason to call the cops because they found no cause whatsoever. Also, Cindy McCain has not said anything about any red flags other than the lack of resemblance.

7. No, I just disagreed with your accusation of racism. We neither one know any more about this

incident than we have read.

What if it had actually been a case of human trafficking and she had not said anything for fear of being called a racist? We've been told repeatedly that if we see something suspicious, report it and let the authorities figure it out. That's what she did.

8. You did more than that

You did more than address the racism angle. You said that you don’t know if there is anything else other than the difference between the mother and the daughter that could’ve been a red flag to Cindy McCain. But the police found nothing and Cindy McCain hasn’t said anything else. You gave her the benefit of the doubt.

9. So you think more people should call the cops on me?

I hang out with my son, who doesn’t look like me, like I said in my post. Do you think people should call the cops on me just in case because God for bid I’m trafficking him?
And I can’t believe that you said the difference in their skin color is “something suspicious”.

13. Maybe the adult/parent was much darker than the child....

that would trigger some, where the opposite case would not.

I hope you’re not saying that people should be triggered only by the darker parent.
You said it happens, but you didn’t say it’s wrong.

My point is the opposite of what you think it is (yah, it's WRONG). A white person / couple adopting a dark-skinned child would likely be seen as appropriate and charitable (except by the repulsives of course who--looking at you, Rove--will try to use it against an opponent) while a dark-skinned person with a white child must be TRAFFICKING!

12. I have read the AZ Republic article on line....I am so disappointed in C Mccain...

She really needs to have a further discussion as to "why" she would bring attention to the police of a child of different ethnicity than the person the child was with...good grief..what next?...

https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/phoenix/2019/02/07/cindy-mccain-steps-back-human-trafficking-report-phoenix-sky-harbor-airport/2799972002/

Yes, she has stepped back..not enough..if she wants to promote "if you see something, say something", she certainly should further this discussion..NOT just step back....

I'm not sure disappointed is the correct description, but I will leave it at that...I'm not sure her apology is enough..and to think we have a pos in the wh who has lost so many children - now there is a problem..Cindy, perhaps you could get on board and offer your assistance in reuniting the children with their parents...

But, can someone sue her, and win a judgement against her because of this incident?

Probably not.
