Ok, what do we make of this? That a bunch of people who got rich thanks to cities that spent money on their infrastructure want to cut their own throat?

1. I don't see any significance to the cities or urban neighborhoods involved

There are conservatives all over the place, just as there are liberals everywhere.

2. It's meaningless

New York and Los Angeles are large and wealthy cities that in spite of their Democratic tilts, have many wealthy Republicans. Republicans must always go to them for money that they intend to spend in swing states.

3. Cities?

There's a bunch of wealthy donors that happen to reside in progressive areas. CBS News is making something out of nothing IMHO. California and, certainly, San Francisco is NOT going to go for Romney, right?
