The theme of this year's RNC convention is "We Built This!"

Only one problem with their individualistic bullshit mantra: The RNC convention was completely built using taxpayer money & will be guarded by Unionized police officers & Unionized firefighters. Their flights will arrive safely thanks to TSA pat-downs and their bussing in of nut-jobs & hyper-fundamentalists will drive on collectivist roads. Still trying to find out if the convention was built using Union labor.

Oh, and the "fiscally conservative" GOPers are spending $2.5 million on a fancy stage.

They can claim that they used no government to evacuate the thousands of delegates. If I were Tampa, I would say, "Fine! You're on your own."

Not really. But just to illustrate a point to the Ayn Rand and tea bag cults.

Obama's statement was unifying, it was reminding people in the private sector of the contributions of the public sector.

By making this their theme, they are rejecting people in the public sector. Romney did this very explicitly in some speeches, he singled out school bus drivers and DMV workers as not deserving credit. Now are we going to hear speech after speech at the convention telling various other occupations how little the GOP values them?

They built a minority party filled with fear, sexism, racism, and class warfare with their own chicken shit grubby little hands.

They did build that.
