with the few extra dollars that I was getting in my paycheck into my retirement.
Ended up with about the same refund as last year, but my case is not typical. I'm single, own my house with a mortgage and haven't itemized in many years.
When it passed, I had read the warnings (Mostly here!). For the most part, I seem to recall that the "Experts" were saying that nobody would really know until they filed their taxes in 2019 (after the election). Sure they knew, they just didn't want voters to know. I don't think many people got the message that the pathetic extra "raises" they were seeing were not really tax cuts.
