4. I heard a report yesterday about the Sheriffs

Many of them are in the rural eastern half of Washington, and I thought, "Huh, I was unaware of any provisions of the law that empowered county sheriffs not to enforce laws they didn't like, or to decide for themselves that any duly-passed laws were unconstitutional." Glad to see the Attorney General isn't going to put up with any shenanigans along those lines. If the courts rule the law is unconstitutional, that's one thing; county sheriffs don't get to decide that all on their own.
