unless it was to pander. It was a good compromise for Democrats and they must have realized that. And a no vote would mean another shutdown, only now it would be the Democrats' fault.

Paul is probably just opposed to government funding of almost any kind.

Not sure about Sasse.

As for the rest, they're batshit crazy and Trump's base is their base.
