But just wanted to thank the person that gave me a heart . That was so kind of you and I really appreciate it! Hope you see this! Thanks again!

(25,815 posts)But you are very welcome.
I got more hearts than I expected, and I was quite impressed and humbled. I know how often I rile people up here, and apparently more people appreciate me than I thougth.
I'm sure is the same for you. You deserved your heart.

(561 posts)It's true, You can really give a person a little love, by acknowledging them. Just might be the day that they need it the most!

(25,815 posts)That is so true, and I try to remember that in my ordinary, outside of DU life. It's not hard to smile and say something pleasant to someone, especially when dealing with someone whose job has them dealing with the public all day long. Grocery store clerks, receptionists, airline employees, nurses and patient attendants in hospitals, and so on. Especially if it seems as if the other person is having a rough day.
If there is any kind of purpose to life, I believe it's to be good to each other.

(25,815 posts)I find myself getting crabby about something that is not the other person's fault, and I try to not snap at them. Some days I'm better about that than others.

(561 posts)I really enjoy DU. I don't post often, but I love reading the posts. I think I've learned a lot about politics, but even more than that, some of the posts really touch my heart, and I can identify with the posters experience. Let's you know you're not the only person who has gone or is going through the same experience and how they dealt with it. A wealth of information. Thanks DU for allowing me to participate! Love to all!
