Right nowso long as its not Tulsi Gabbardwhoever ends up winning the nomination is secondary to my concerns of whats going on right now so Id rather have the crazy back and forth sheparded off somewhere else.

(115,196 posts)I really don't think they intended for any and ALL critique of Dem primary candidates to be off limits.
It appears to me that there is a wide variation in how DUers feel about that and thus interpret the "rules."

(2,207 posts)Right now, I really dont care about who is running for President next year.
I usually come here to see whats happening with the current administration, because the election isnt going to mean a damn thing if MF45 continues to destroy our country.

(35,080 posts)We don't even know everyone who is running. What I don't care about is that so-and-so donated money to Bernie Sanders or whomever. Why do people think that anyone cares?

(51,711 posts)Agree on the primaries board. Perhaps post this in ask the admins. They could also open up topic forums for each major candidate as we already have it for Sanders and Warren.

(321,557 posts)While I've got your attention, many of you have been asking whether we're going to be opening up a separate forum for the Democratic presidential primaries, as we have in the past. The answer is yes. Once Valentine Hearts week is over, we'll be unveiling the new forum and our plans for primary season. The new forum isn't going to be quite the same as it has been in the past -- we are doing things a little differently this time around, and we hope you will like what we have in store. Soon after the fund drive is over, we will make an announcement explaining everything.
Something new.. how exciting!

I asked this if the Admins a few weeks ago. Got this reply:
We dont have an exact date yet but there will be a primaries forum opening up once we have completed some additional planning and programming. We will make an announcement when we have information to share, hopefully sometime in the next few weeks.
