Anyone think it's a coincidence that Clarence Thomas wants to weaken the libel laws

for public figures, just weeks after his wife was known to be a visitor at Roger Stone's domicile the night before he was arrested?

Were they strategizing ways to silence the media, by giving Trump and others the power to SLAPP the media into silence?

Our voices and rights are just an annoyance to the greedy when there's so much money to be made.

The greedy have pledged allegiance to one thing - wealth.

and no one has successfully stopped them. That is what the powerbase looks like at a federal, state and local level.

The only thing we have to fight them is the First Amendment. And now, they want to take that away as well.

Lawyers that understand that Republicans have infiltrated every private and public organization to stack the cards in their favor. And it hasn't been done by accident. This is what the Federalist Society has been planning for decades.

We do not have any organization that is as focused and as funded as the Federalist Society, and that would be my first suggestion. Private attorneys who will look for cases that will serve to upend the damage caused by the Right.

The Trumpster would love to sue the life out of his perceived enemies. What better way than to weaken the libel laws and get rid of SNL, CNN and any and all critics.

The Man Who Would Be King is following the typical gamebook--silence all detractors.

The GOP's approach to the courts and religion with strong propaganda and ties with Russia has them ahead currently.

We have alot of work to do to turn this tide back but sometimes i am afraid that our leaders dont understand what is really in front of them.

We have known about the Federalist Society for decades, and no one has stepped up to put the money into a project to counter them.

Dems will follow the rules and if that doesnt work, they move on.

This leads to the GOP willing to do anything to get what hey want.... getting what they want.

You need a case, Clarence.

I know, how about Hillary suing Trump a million dollars for everytime he called her a crook?

Or how about Barack suing Trump for saying he was born in Kenya?

I have seen Roger Stone types at a local level. Poor guys have to resort to very dark, expensive restaurants in order to lure in their "young thangs" and make it to the dessert round.

If Justice Pube Hair is going after libel laws at this point in time, after being nothing more than Scalia's mute hand puppet for decades, then trump is involved. That's what I'll believe until convincing evidence to the contrary turns up.
