Matt Schlapp, sleazoid Republican toady, tweets just a few days ago, on the very eve of the 2nd "Barr era" as AG, that once Barr was the man, Mueller would "soon be gone".

CNN just reported that Barr is saying he'll have the Mueller Report "as early as next week" and he will then decide how much he will "summarize" and release to Congress.

I don't even remember getting kissed.

Mueller is a direct report to the AG. He can end the investigation any time he wants.

Whatever report Mueller generates goes to the AG and it is completely within that AG’s power to toss that entire report into a safe in the deepest hole in government and pretend it doesn’t exist. There is absolutely nothing anybody can do about it and no one can force him to show it to anyone.

The only thing they can do is create another special council and start over again but by the time that second one is done trump et al will likely be out of office and it won’t matter as far as things like impeachment are concerned.
