Fox only attracts the far right. Most Americans watch one or more of the many other networks. Individually they lead each major network, until recently. When you add the audiences of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, NPR together they dominate their weaker right wing opposition.
Latest Prime time numbers has just CNN and MSNBC together with over 300,000 more viewers per Nielsen.
Fox rating are a smoke screen for their minions.
On a good day they may get 2.5 million viewers. roughtly .0076% of the US population.
