did I ever imagine or envision that "Sophie" would eventually win a best actress Oscar.

She certainly wasn't bad then, but turns out she's quite brilliant.

would win. She, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz did fabulous ensemble work in The Favourite.

was amazing in The Favorite. (I didn't see the Wife, but I heard Close was fantastic, as well.) But The Favorite was the first time I had seen Coleman in anything, and I was blown away.
