At a minimum, Rep. Matt Gaetz should be thrown out of Congress.

OR charged with witness tampering and attempted obstruction of justice. There should be more outrage by the Democrats in Congress in both Houses. They should be all over the media tonight and through the week-end.

So, nothing will happen.

Well, maybe an ethics violation ...

It's a better look for the GOP to have sitting House members in federal prison, rather than have those prisoners be ex-Congresspersons.

But if his sentence is over before the term is up, then sure, kick him out upon parole.

I think I would risk getting kicked off of Wikipedia in order to do something like this.

Drunk driving arrest and speeding tickets

In 2008, Gaetz was arrested for a DUI as he was driving back from the Swamp, a nightclub on Okaloosa Island, Florida. While he was arrested and refused to take a breathalyzer test, "he didn't have his license suspended for a year when he refused the breath test—as Florida law dictates. And he didn't have that refusal used against him in a criminal proceeding." Charges against him were dismissed despite the fact that the police reported that "Gaetz fumbled for his license and registration, his eyes were watery and bloodshot, and he swayed and staggered when he got out of the car." Gaetz has cited the dropped charges as proof that he was innocent.[74]

Between 1999 and 2014, Gaetz received 16 speeding tickets in Florida.[75]

All including post insinuating that Speaker Pelosi should do more.

What exactly? She can’t kick him out without lots of republican votes. Same with Censure. The ethics committee decides who to investigate

Can’t remove him from committee assignments. That up to his party.

So if you have a criticism of our speaker, please inform us of what she should do.
