14. I've felt for a while now that he's completely sincere is his remorse.

redeem himself. Really, it's over for him. His career, the respect of others, and probably much more. So, now that he has been reduced to a shameful state, he is taking his best shot at redemption by blowing the whistle on Trump.

Will it work? Not immediately, but he will gain some ground by this public testimony.
