(56,848 posts)we should give people willing to turn on Trump a hand up and a pat on the back at least. He took Trump's tweets as a threat against his family and he's still testifying. They're the ones we're going to need to testify in courts of law and in any impeachment trials.

(151,544 posts)redeem himself. Really, it's over for him. His career, the respect of others, and probably much more. So, now that he has been reduced to a shameful state, he is taking his best shot at redemption by blowing the whistle on Trump.
Will it work? Not immediately, but he will gain some ground by this public testimony.
