(2,248 posts)How Cohen can go from one extreme to the other. It's like he was struck by lightning.
Is he now a hero? Listening to him, it sounds like he is.

I'm not sure what snapped him out of the situation - he named a couple of things.

(38,393 posts)Also, he was caught red-handed and convicted, so there's that.

(38,393 posts)It will pay off when he's paroled 1/3 of the way through his sentence.

(7,802 posts)respect that. First step is to own up to what he did, accept the consequences and then to tell the truth.

(129,722 posts)which he did to protect Trump. He's not about to do that again, and he has nothing to lose (and the possibility of a reduced sentence to gain) by telling the truth now. Whether he's really had a come-to-Jesus moment or just wants to get even with Trump for throwing him under the bus - who knows?

(31,215 posts)he's been freed from a cult.
he has been caught and has nothing left to lose.
and as he just stated, he can see what a divisive and destructive force trump is to the country.

(12,532 posts)He does come off as man who got out from under a cult.
Reminds me a little of the German people after WWII ended. They are one minute horrified at what they did and the next minute thrilled to be out from the trance.

(12,344 posts)I think Trump was saying Cohen did it without telling him. Cohen knew loyalty was a one street for Trump, but only then did he realize that it could happen to him.

(2,248 posts)It was ridiculous.
It was boxes returned to Cohen after the raid. Yet, he was being questioned about why he didn't turn them in.
Reaching.
