I thought one of our Reps debunked this thing while the committee was in session. (Didn't get to watch, but read about this incident, or similar, on DU today).

7. Don't think it's about the testimony today, I think it's about accepting money from 'foreign'

companies ... leveraging his closeness to Trump. Right after Trump won, IOW.

He said today he explicitly wrote in the contract(s) that he would do no 'lobbying', only provide insights, etc.

It's still fairly shady what he did, let's not kid ourselves.

But it sounded like he CYA'd appropriately.

Not to mention, foreign 'entities' like Corporations are not what FARA talks about, AFAIK (unless they're State-held or perhaps demonstrably very close to the 'State')

I'm pretty confident the Mueller team and SDNY have gone over Cohen's activities with a fine-toothed comb. Not likely Meadows uncovered misdeeds that were overlooked.

9. Unless all the legal pundits are wrong, dumb Marky-Med is doubling down on his misunderstanding

of a) the law, or b) what Cohen testified to... because the law is about foreign GOVERNMENTS and Cohen's testimony was about foreign PARTIES. A distinction with a rather large difference, and there doesn't seem to be any too-cute word play on Cohen's part in that exchange, just Meadows being a dumbass.

Kind of like that other GOP dummy couldn't wrap his head around the idea that Cohen gave boxes of stuff to the feds, and then they gave those boxes back to him after sorting through them... which is why Cohen has them. Indignantly insisting that Cohen turns those boxes of documents over is... kind of dumb.
